Champagne B de Boërl & Kroff (2002)

New

1 100,00 €

tax incl.

Vintage: 2002
Disgorgement date: 2011
75 cl numbered bottle

Grape varieties blend:
Pinot noir 100%

Vinification:
The juice comes exclusively from the first press. The base rape has flowed naturally thanks to gravity, with no pumping. We specially value this technique for the elaboration of our Champagnes. It allows to use very low quantities of sulfites (three times under standard vinification). *
This very «natural» vinification and the rare quality oak casks we use for part of the wines gives to our pinots a very beautiful copper-coloured aspect, close to last century's tradition.
Malolactic fermentation, non-filtered and non-discoloured wines.
Dosage liquor matured in oak casks (over 15 years).

Tasting:
By Gérard Basset, MS.MW, Best Sommelier in the World 2010.

Only time the top wine was produced in both Bottles and Magnums.
Medium gold with greenish tinges, consistent cordon made of very tiny bubbles.
The nose is elegant with plenty aromas of candied pear, earl grey tea and angelica.
Fresh and lively with real finesse of texture, stunning mouth feel and great overall harmony finishing on a camomile aftertaste.
A Champagne of great intensity at the beginning of its maturity but already enjoyable now.
This cuvée is the perfect illustration of the really unique style of this beautiful house that produces Champagnes for long ageing.

Alcohol : 12,5 % Vol.
